GN Four Span Ballast Deck Concrete Bridge - HO
Regular price
$54.95
These four span ballast deck concrete bridges are a Great Northern Railway standard structure widely used as far west as Montana to replace wooden trestles during the 1900-1930 time period. They were used to cross virtually any low spot, and a creek or single lane roadway often passed under them. They were regarded as permanent structures and were not susceptible to fire damage. Because of their relatively high cost, they were generally used on main lines.
