Two lane wooden overpass - HO
Monroe Models’ County Road Bridge is a model of a two-lane bridge over the Great Northern Railway near Willmar. Similar wooden trestle style overpasses were common all along the GN from 1900 or so, to and beyond the merger. Beginning in the 1950’s, wooden road bridges were replaced with concrete and steel structures.
This will be an impressive structure on your railroad. It is tall enough to clear double stack equipment and wide enough for two tracks. Every board, railing, support, and pier is made of laser cut bass wood or micro plywood. “Photo’ directions make each step easy to understand and to construct without hours of reading and head scratching. The kit also includes road and railroad signs for the bridge.
Size is 13 1-2 inches long, 3 1/4 inches wide, and 4 1/8 inches high.
