Railway Express Agency ice cooled refrigerator cars operated in passenger trains to provide temperature controlled service for traffic controlled by REA. On the GN, these could be found on the Oriental Limited, Western Star, and regional trains such as the Internationals, Portland pool trains, and Gopher and Badger.
