We have removed the decals for GN 60060 - 60299 from the store. The printing is over size.  Since this is an important series, we are developing our own decals for these cars. Details to follow.

The store now has decals for all 11 lots of General Steel Industries flat cars.  The GN built two and bought nine lots of flat cars from GSI. These cars were distinctly different in that the entire body was a single steel casting. The GN assembled the first two lots, 60500 to 60549 in 1958 and 60550 to 60569 in 1960. N scalers, the store now has the 20,000 bu. Touhey elevator in stock. Due to positive results in our survey about this item, we had them made for you. Please order. Clean me out and I will get more! The N scale 50,000 gallon wood water tank will be along in 4-6 weeks.

Those of you who model in N scale will probably recall that we have committed to offering the Touhey Elevator and the GN standard 50,000 gallon wooden water tank and pumphouse in N scale. The vendor advised that we should have Touhey Elevator in the store by mid-February, with water tank 30-60 days later. Happy New Year!

Decals for Great Northern passenger cars are available from Microscale, and they cover the modeler’s needs reasonably well.

Decals for Great Northern freight cars are a much more complex subject.
