Great Northern Railway Weed Spray Car X7603 was built at St. Cloud in June of 1963 from box car 45458, a 1937 AAR design steel frame, end, and roof, but wood sided, 40’-6” inside length box car. It was the last weed spray car built by Great Northern. Our model X7603 Weed Sprayer kit is a 3D printed kit suited for those experienced with building craftsman kits. The kit includes Tichy grabs, Plano roof walk, Tahoe Model Works truck frames, wire, screws, window material, decals, and a grab iron bending jig.   We are now taking preorders at https://gnrhs.myshopify.com/collections/engines for three Great Northern Railway RS-3s, numbers 220, 223 and 227. By special arrangement with Bowser, engine number 227 is available exclusively at the GNRHS Company Store. All will be painted in the original Orange and Green paint scheme with the Empire Builder style of lettering. All engine numbers Bowser is offering are from the first lot of eight units, numbers 197-199, and 220-224, which arrived in May of 1950. 10’ 6” IH, 40’-6" IL ST CLOUD BUILT 1953 AND 1955 BOX CARS BY RAPIDO HO SCALE

These ready-to-run HO scale models of Great Northern 10’ 6” inside height, 40’ 6” inside length, 3900 cubic foot box cars by Rapido are correctly numbered in series 21450 to 21939 built at St. Cloud in 1953 with early dreadnaught ends, and 5000-5499 built at St. Cloud in 1955 with late dreadnaught ends. These cars provided 3900 cubic feet of space compared with 10’ 2” IH, 3715 cubic feet for cars built in 1949 and 1951.
